JW sighting at the supermarket
by Scully inlast weekend i was picking up a few things for dinner and was just ringing through the order when i noticed the person behind me examining the cake i was buying a little too closely.
it was a jw woman we used to know.
apparently she was hell bent on figuring out whether this cake was for some kind of celebration (it wasn't) so she could run back to her husband the elder and try to cause trouble for me.

Poppers,
If you go to just one race... even the cheap seats, not Busch Series, but the Nextel Cup with the Big Boys, and I think you'll understand the "love."
It's extremely powerful, physically. It can be mentally if you get to know the drivers. Of course Dale Jr. is someone that you really want to know! Seriously, look and read about them all then pick one and follow him.
It's a real hoot! Hanging out on a Sunday with 250,000 of your closest friends. -

I certainly feel less alone on this big, blue ball because of this site. I have never seen or talked to a real shrink so I can't formally compare; but i'd say talking with y'all makes me feel pretty good.
None of my current friends know what it's like to get dragged outta 3rd Grade class before the Christmas party to go and pile into some pioneer's beater station wagon with all your other Dub buddies. -

Everyone has a song
by Wordly Andre ineveryone has a song that reminds them of a particular moment in their lives, happy or sad or sometimes indifferent.
its only that when you hear that song it takes you back even catching you off guard and suddenly your back in high school or remembering someone you loved and lost.
how many of you have a song that reminds you of leaving the org.

"For Those About to Rock" AC/DC
I lost and gained a lot the day that I first heard that song/album. Anyone remember Malt Duck Liquor? Little bottles of Red, Yummy, Malt Liquor. When you're 13 it don't take many of 'em to make you do not-right things. Ever heard of a full-face hitter made from a gas mask? Yeah, did I mention I was 13.
I think that's the day that Jehobee scratched me from the "Nice Kids" list. -

How many 'real" friends did you ever really have in ther "truth'
by The Lone Ranger insure we got to know a lot of people, we knew a lot more people then the average person, but how many real friends did we ever have?
a friend that we could trust, that we could confine in.
i can say i had just one, bro x and even then i still had to be careful, bro x is an elder now and he tells me that im the only real friend hes ever had, he cant freely talk to anyone.

I don't think that the Dubs teach you to be a friend or to befriend. I learned only to distrust anyone and anything.
I tried to go back and be friendly even to some of my cousins. They see me as dead, which is interesting as I see them as complete crack-pots.
It's weird, since they really aren't planning for anything, on this earth/system, they don't seem to get wound up about the stuff that non-dubs do. Non-dub "Hey, little Timmy is going to Kindergarten!" Dub,"Yeah, so. He's still going to die @ Armageddon."
Yuck! I'll just have no friends at all if that's how I have to feel.
p.s. I didn't like most of the people at my congo as they all seemed to enjoy crappy jobs without advancement opportunities. Who cares about advancement when you'll be in Paradise tomorrow, or the next day, or the day after that, ad nauseum. -

Congratulations! Hip, Hip, Hooray for you and your intestinal fortitude!
I would agree about the relief vs. jubilance. I think you'll feel that jubilation when you're faced with a problem and you realize you can answer it based on the info you learned while getting your degree.
At least take a week off before you go and start a business. I think you’ve earned a few days of lounging or drinking or both... or just drinking.
